Our boys and girls from P5/6McC and P6G had a wonderful school trip to the Silent Valley Mountain Park and Reservoir today.
We enjoyed venturing into the heart of the Mournes to see this amazing feat of engineering and learn more about our mountains and the water cycle. The boys and girls completed a ‘Silent Valley Sketch Board’ activity along with an ‘Explorer Photo Challenge’ in groups. We even had a lovely picnic packed lunch at the water’s edge and a play in their adventure playground. A wonderful day out!
